About Me

It is so nice to meet you! I’m glad you are here, and I wish we could swap stories over a cup of dark roast coffee.  I’m thankful for the chance to share a bit about myself with you.

I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia, but I  now call Metro-Detroit “home,” along  with my husband, and two sons.

I am a Christ-follower, wife, mother, friend, humanitarian, writer, reader,  runner, traveler, justice-seeker, dark-roast-coffee-drinker, all-good-foods-eater, and passionate dreamer. I love all kinds of music, and I can fold fitted sheets like you wouldn’t believe.

I believe in grace that covers all our sins; in a risen Savior that calls us to life. I believe in fighting to live deeply in the ordinary moments of day-to-day living, and loving richly in a world that desperately needs it.

I believe that you are made with dignity, with value, and with purpose. I believe that together–you and me—we are called to be brave and learn to live our lives out with power, with purpose, and with intention to bring beauty, grace, compassion, and justice into the broken world we all live in.
